Allan Boomer has been in the financial industry for over 20 years, and has spent the bulk of his career advising institutional clients, and wealthy families.  Prior to founding Momentum, Allan spent 7 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Vice President in the firm's Private Wealth Management group.  While at Goldman, he managed a $450 million investment portfolio on a team that oversaw $7 billion in client assets.  Allan began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1995.

Allan is the Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committee of Raritan Valley Community College Foundation, Past Chairman of the NYU Stern Alumni Council, and Chairman of the Good Shepherd Real Estate Corporation, a faith-based non-profit community development organization.  He previously served on the Board of Overseers at NYU Stern.

Allan holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business, where he was a Robert Toigo Fellow, and a BS from Morgan State University.

Head of WEALTH MANAGEMENT & Financial Planning

Will joined Momentum in 2014 from PT Wealth Management, an independent wealth management firm he founded in 2010. Platt began his career as a financial advisor in 2002.  Prior to starting his firm, he spent 8 years at Mass Mutual, where he focused on financial planning, insurance and investments. William is a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Fund Specialist.

An active member in his community, Will serves as President of the Young Professionals of the Urban League of Long Island, and is a fellow at the Children’s Storefront, an independent school in Harlem.  Additionally, he takes pride in coaching his daughter’s soccer team and son’s basketball team.

Will holds a sociology degree from the college of William and Mary, where he played cornerback for the football team.

Head of Institutional Client Services

Tiffany McGhee is the head of the firm's Institutional Client Services practice, where she oversees fiduciary and investment advisory services for Momentum's corporate and non-profit clients.

Prior to joining Momentum, Tiffany managed a portfolio of non-profit defined contribution plan clients in the Mid-Atlantic region for TIAA-CREF, the number one provider of retirement plans among educational institutions in the United States.  Prior to TIAA-CREF, she was a Wealth Manager in the Private Client Group at Merrill Lynch. Tiffany's financial services career spans more than 13 years.

Tiffany Hawkins is the Head of Private Investments (PI) and Business Development for Momentum Advisors, a boutique wealth management firm with nearly $300MM under advisement. She has over 12 years of expertise in the creation, market engagement and distribution of top brands and consumer businesses, globally, and has now taken a direction toward the development and ownership of new business ventures for her clients: notable families, professional athletes, entertainers, and qualifies entrepreneurial individuals.

Her division is responsible for all investments that do not trade on exchanges, such as real estate, private business and, most notably, franchising. Tiffany oversees the operations, infrastructure, and management of each franchise opportunity. Tiffany focuses on investing in brands that have a unique value proposition and sustainable competitive advantage.

Tiffany holds two Bachelors’ degree from Morgan State University specializing in Communication Studies and Statistical Research. She has also served on several boards driving awareness of the lack of diversity in high-profile strategic positions throughout the United States

Wealth Management

Chavon has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, as well as financial media.

Prior to joining Momentum, she spent 5 years at J.P. Morgan, where as a Vice President in the firm’s Asset and Wealth Management division, she provided clients customized investment advice and solutions across a variety of asset classes and strategies. While at J.P. Morgan, she managed a $150 million investment portfolio on a team that oversaw over $14 billion in client assets.  Chavon began her finance career as a Credit Analyst covering Financial Institutions at Bank of America.  She is also an accomplished journalist, having written articles about personal finance, global markets and economics as a writer for such prestigious publications such as, Reuters News America and 

Chavon holds an M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business, a Masters in Journalism from NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, with an Advanced Certificate in Business & Economic Reporting, and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania (Cum Laude). 

Chavon is a classically-trained soprano, with a passion for the arts, and is an Associate Board member of the Harlem School of the Arts.

Wealth Management, International Client Services

Earl Carr’s mandate is to develop the firm’s cross-border wealth management practice, and to implement the firm’s communications strategy. Earl joined Momentum in 2014 from Morgan Stanley, where he was a Vice President in the Institute for Sustainable Investing, serving as a strategist and thought leader.  Prior to Morgan Stanley, Earl was a Vice President of commercial banking at HSBC. Early in his 15-year career, he worked at McKinsey & Co. and the Council on Foreign Relations. Earl’s international experience has included 8 years studying, living, and working in Asia, primarily: Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, and Taiwan. 

Earl is a Term Member at The Council on Foreign Relations. He is also a member of The National Committee on United States-China Relations (NCUSCR). Carr is a member of The International Career Advancement Program (ICAP), a member of The New Canaan Society (NCS), and a Deacon at Trinity Baptist Church.

Earl received his Bachelor's degree in International Relations from The College of William & Mary and holds a MA degree in International Affairs from American University. He has studied at Beijing Normal University in China, and International Christian University located in Tokyo, Japan and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He also speaks Japanese, in addition to basic level Cantonese (Chinese), Spanish, and Arabic.

KEITH BEVERLY, CFA | Vice President

Keith Beverly has 15 years of investment management and financial planning experience.  His responsibilities range from building customized investment portfolios to implementing sophisticated financial planning strategies.  He has cultivated a particular niche serving medical professionals and attorneys.

A native Washingtonian, Keith works to improve the educational opportunities for youth through his involvement with Code Switch Solutions–a tech-enabled financial education company. He has delivered numerous financial seminars to professional and civic organizations.

Keith is an active member of the Epsilon Gamma Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business with University and College Honors and obtained his MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler's Business School where he was a Dean's Fellow. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and passed the CFP® exam in 2003.



Kyle joined Momentum in 2014, from PNC Investments.  Kyle’s financial services experience began in 2005, when he received a fellowship to study Investment Banking in Verbier Switzerland as a college student. After graduating in 2006, Kyle spent several years at UBS, where he worked in wealth management supporting a team of financial advisors.  He then entered the financial advisor training program at Merrill Lynch before landing at PNC. 

Kyle has a strong passion for financially literacy.  In 2010, he founded a non-profit called Corporation Me. The organization teaches financial literacy to children by showing them how to operate and view themselves as a business.

Kyle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Howard University.


Tim joined Momentum in 2016 from New York Life. He has over eight years of financial services and corporate work experience. Prior to New York Life, Tim worked at Fidelity Investments in Durham, NC, assisting clients with their 401k needs. At Momentum, he focuses on relationship management and insurance planning for business owners, executives and professional athletes. 

Tim is a graduate of North Carolina Central University, where he majored in political science, and was an active member in the Political Science Club. While in college, he interned at Northwestern Mutual, where he received recognition as being a top twenty five intern nationally. Tim is passionate about giving back to his community and being involved in politics and public service. His volunteer and service resume includes teaching Sunday School at Agape and Power Ministries in Durham NC, volunteering for non-partisan voting advocacy, and volunteering with a number of non-profit organizations.
